Custom Travel Trunks

Trunks (also known as A-Style) are the cornerstone of cases. Top opening, these cases typically should have a lid that is no more than 3” deep, are hinged, and offer heavy-duty protection. Extra-large trunks can have removable lids. They are available with and without casters and brakes, and come with many options and in many colors. Jan-Al has standards on file or the design team can develop custom plans. Jan-Al Cases has been deeply committed to reducing our environmental footprint by using water based coatings, green construction products & examining manufacturing capture of the products we use in our cases. Cadillacs

A Cadillac is a term for a standard case that is Truck Pack. These cases fit across semi-trailers and box trucks both domestically and internationally. At a minimum they meet ATA 300 Cat 1 Specification and often meet Mil Spec 810 as well. Standard dimensions including hardware but not casters are:

The top-to-bottom dimension can vary depending on the requirements of the pack. In addition to the options above, some Cadillacs are also fitted with lids that fold a full 180 degrees flat on the back of the case.
